Dtravel Rewards: Booking Incentive Program (IP)

Learn how you can maximize your TRVL allocation at the end of Season 1 by participating in the Booking Incentive Program.

Dtravel Rewards: Booking Incentive Program (IP)

Dtravel Rewards, funded by up to 150 million TRVL, consists of multiple Incentive Programs (IPs) aimed at expanding Dtravel’s vacation rental DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure network).

In this post, we will cover the Booking Incentive Program (Booking-IP).

Important: Points vary in value across Incentive Programs, so points earned from the Booking-IP may not directly equate to those from the Listing-IP or Community-IP, and vice versa. Points will be converted into TRVL at the end of each season. Those who participate in Incentive Programs will be whitelisted to participate in ecosystem staking.

Season 1 begins July 31, 2024 and will run for 3 months.

Booking-IP: Overview

Booking growth is just as crucial as listing growth, and in fact, they fuel each other. Like listings, on-chain bookings generate usage fees that support various reward programs. The Booking-IP is strategically designed to reward anyone who contributes to on-chain bookings.

Anyone can earn points by either completing stays or referring travelers who book and complete a stay.

The Booking-IP focuses on demand growth in two key areas:

  1. Completed Stays
  2. Booking Referrals

This document delves deeper into these topics and outlines how you can earn rewards by contributing to on-chain bookings growth.

Completed Stays

The Listing-IP incentivizes travelers using Dtravel’s web app to discover and book stays with vacation rental operators peer-to-peer. Travelers may earn increasingly more points on every completed stay so long as the booked listing is unique.

How to Earn Points: Completed Stays

You can earn points by either completing a stay at any unique listing or referring a traveler who completes a stay.

Activity: Completed Stays - Anyone can earn points by completing a peer-to-peer stay. Travelers earn increasingly more points for each additional stay completed.

  • Tourist (First stay) - 1,000 points
  • Adventurer (Second stay) - 2,000 points
  • Wanderer (Third stay) - 3,000 points
  • Nomad (Fourth stay) - 4,000 points
  • Globetrotter (>Four stays) - 5,000 points

End date: Seasonal. Eligible bookings made by a traveler will reset with each season.

Activity: Booking Referral - Anyone can earn points by referring a traveler who then completes a stay. Points can only be earned if the traveler is a new guest at a particular listing. Points earned are based on the US dollar value of a stay.

  • Booking Referral $10 to $50 - 100 points
  • Booking Referral $50 to $100- 500 points
  • Booking Referral: $101 to $200 USD - 1,000 points
  • Booking Referral: $201 to $300 USD - 2,000 points
  • Booking Referral: $301 to $400 USD - 3,000 points
  • Booking Referral: $401 to $500 USD - 4,000 points
  • Booking Referral: $501 to $700 USD - 5,000 points
  • Booking Referral: $1,001 to $3,000 USD - 10,000 points
  • Booking Referral: > $3,000 USD - 30,000 points

End date: Seasonal. Eligible bookings made by a traveler will reset with each season.
