To sync your calendars from other websites that you get bookings from, you can use iCal to sync your calendars with Dtravel. iCal is a commonly used industry tool that syncs availability to avoid double bookings.
With iCal, you have two options - importing and exporting a calendar. Think of importing as your bookings and availability coming into Dtravel and exporting as your Dtravel availability and bookings going out to platforms and services that you’re using.
Importing a Calendar
- To import a calendar, choose the listing you wish to import a calendar for. On the listing details page, select “Availability & Los” option then “Import calendar”.
- You’ll be prompted to add your iCal URL and enter a name for this calendar. Copy the URL from your external calendar (ex: Airbnb) into the calendar address field. Make sure your external calendar address URL (iCal links) ends in .ICS.

- Once you have enter your iCal URL from the platform you’d like to sync a calendar from, name it, then click “Connect”.
- You’ll see a confirmation message that the calendar is now imported. You’ll need to do this with all the different websites/platforms where you have bookings to ensure that you don’t get double bookings.
Exporting a Calendar
- To export your Dtravel direct booking website calendar to another platform, choose the listing you wish to export a calendar for. On the listing details page, select “Availability & Los” option then “Outbound Calendar”.
- You’ll be able to see your calendar link. Copy this by clicking on the copy icon and you can use this link on other websites when importing your Dtravel direct booking website calendar.
