How to Import & Sync Your Airbnb Listings to Dtravel (Updated)

Dtravel’s Airbnb Sync feature allows operators to import and sync their listing data (including rates & availability), which saves time, standardizes revenue management strategies, and helps prevent double bookings. This is especially useful for the following personas and use cases:

  1. New Dtravel users with existing Airbnb listings that want to get started quickly
  1. Current Dtravel users with previously imported listings from Airbnb
  1. Users with a PMS not yet integrated with Dtravel

Using the Airbnb Sync Feature

1. Either in the onboarding flow or on the Listings page, select Add listing and Import from Airbnb to start importing your properties.

2. You’ll be prompted to connect your Airbnb account and taken through a series of steps allowing Dtravel to connect with it.
  • Dtravel uses Hospitable Connect to import and sync your Airbnb account, which works even if you're connected to other channel management software.
  • You can only import active listings from Airbnb.
  • Co-hosting is not yet supported. If you are a co-host, you will need the listing owner to connect.
  • Dtravel will automatically sync your rates and availability from Airbnb.

3. After access has been successfully granted, check the boxes of the listings you’d like to import and select Import to confirm.

Note: users that had previously imported listings from Airbnb will have the option to map to an existing listing to take advantage of the new sync functionality.

4. Once the listings have been successfully imported, you may be asked to fill in missing data that cannot yet be imported via Hospitable, which includes:
  1. Check-in/Check-out time
  1. Max pets allowed
  1. Taxes and fees
  1. Default min night stay
  1. Default max night stay
  1. Advance notice
  1. Availability window
  1. House rules
  1. Amenities

Note: for those with many listings, there will be an option to make bulk edits.

5. For any settings that are consistent across your portfolio, we recommend saving yourself time by adding those first and applying to all listings.

For example, if all of your imported listings have the same house rules, basic amenities, lodging tax, and cleaning fee, then we recommend adding those values for one listing first and selecting the “apply all” option.

Afterwards, you can still make other edits on a listing-by-listing basis.

6. Once everything is properly configured, your Dtravel listings will be continuously synced from Airbnb, including static listing content (title, photos, etc.) and dynamic listing content (rates and availability).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • If you previously created a manual listing on Dtravel and want to take advantage of this syncing functionality, we recommend creating new listings from the Airbnb import flow and unlisting the previous manual listings.
