Credit Card Payments
- Once you’ve connected your PMS to Dtravel, you’ll need to set up your payment options in your Dtravel account. You can find this in the “Settings” page which is located in the home page or dashboard.
- Under the “Payments” section, you’ll see two options for payments. The first is Stripe, which is used to accept credit card payments. If you don’t already have a Stripe account, you can visit their website to sign up for an account for free. They have a full list of help articles in their Support Center in case you run into any issues or you can always contact their support team.
- To connect your Stripe account, you can read our help article on this topic: How to Connect Your Stripe Account to Accept Credit Card Payments
Google Pay and Apple Pay
If you have a Stripe account, your guests will automatically be able to checkout with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Stripe supports Apple Pay and Google Pay with pre-conditions as below:
- Apple Pay: available on iOS 9 and above, and in Safari starting with iOS 10 or macOS Sierra
- Google Pay: available on mobile and desktop using any credit or debit card saved to user’s Google Account
There are no additional fees to process Apple Pay or Google Pay payments, and the pricing is the same as other card transactions.
Crypto Payments
You can set up a Smart Wallet on Dtravel to start accepting crypto payments very easily.
If you’re somewhat new to crypto and don’t yet have a wallet, we recommend creating a Smart Wallet simply with your email. If you’re not new to crypto wallets, we recommend using one of your existing wallets as the auth login for the creation of a smart wallet.
